The mere statement "Different Perspective" resounds all throughout the industry that echoes confusion when it comes to Nintendo's stance.

Its only confusing to people who want a different reality to be correct. Nintendo has been repeating the same thing in explicit detail for years but some people just refuse to take it as it is.

I can only guess that Nintendo's perspective is too ideal and too different from standard business models for people accept it as true.

You can't discuss Nintendo's business practices and methodologies without bringing ethics onto the feel. A lot of  people (especially Sony and Microsoft fans) do not like this because of not so ethical action those to companies take. They don't want a competition on those grounds so they disregard it. The truth is that Nintendo is a very ethical and family oriented company. Its not "just" all about money with them and it is that which people cannot understand. They would rather lose money than go against there ideals as they have shown in the past.

I agree that it does take a special perspective when it comes to understanding Nintendo's philosophy. To many who bashes their ideals and business practice either have to no clue or refuses to accept it. Unfortunately, it has become almost a culture-like meme to bash them, and use this as a hook to an article
