Being a comic book fan , did any parts of the movie surprise you? Did you know that the lady at the end was going to be a huge bitch?

As soon as she spoke her first line, I knew exactly who she was.

The only thing that I knew about the Batman comics was that Bane broke Batmans back at some point. So when that whole mess happened I was infuriated! Thought Bane was in charge of the whole scam. Then she blew up my world that night in the half full small town theater. Catwoman was another thing that was totally foreign to me. I was expecting more of a cat. I guess that is less realistic. These movies seem to not be about being off the wall like other super hero movies. So I understand it, just was strange to me.

I would love Nolan to save some other Superhero franchises! X-men in the future with Many, many sentinels!

That would be awesome.

I'm also glad to see that you were able to follow along with the story pretty easily.  I took my 12 year old nephew and things were happening so fast and jumping from Batman storyline to Batman storyline that I wondered if anybody but comic book readers would even be able to follow along, much less enjoy it.  The broken back storyline took about two years to tell when it came out.  The storyline where Gotham City was cut off from the rest of the world and different gangs, supervillains, and cops were fighting for control took a year to set up and a year to conclude.  I'm glad it came off okay for the most part.
