Posting in Sales threads now seems more like a duty than a Passion. I don't want to feel pressured to post in here as if its my responsibility. I want to post in here because there's something going on that really interests me. But there isn't How many big games have released for us to look analyze? Mass Effect 3....what else? I honestly don't know.
From my experience with the site, these types of threads are usually field by fans of various games, companies, & consoles who enjoy posting observations & predictions of their preferred topic. No one can do that now. In the software department, there has been little to no exclusives released worthy of attention. Hardware is bland as well.
Positive sales attracts drastically more attention than negative sales. But there are no positive sales.From every fan camp, there is no angle that any person could use to post anything actually good and worth mentioning. Fact is: The industry is probably in the boring position n VGChartz history. And because everything shit and predictable, debates are pretty much impossible. What would motivate a person to debate over which console / games will sell the least shitty? And even if people tried to debate over.the least shitty contender, they would stop debating fairly quickly for the simple fact that there isn't anything that can be debating. The year has been following a fairly conventional trend and nothing looks to change at least until this holiday. Debating over upcoming sales will br like debating what time the sun will rise tomorrow.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and less sale's data and tools is factor.
Anyway, for my obligated on-topic post: Every thing is crap and/boring. EVERYTHING
