It's good that you have a time-line thought out. Creating an actual world engrosses both you and the reader more while writing/reading.
Anyways, we can't really reflect on it without reading the actual story first. If you want you can post an excerpt, a short one (so not to run into any risks like A203D said).
Quick note, that's REALLY nit-picky and you can completely ignore if you want: The "First Men" thing sounds odd, especially considering that this is SciFi. I mean, it sounds so much like high fantasy I want to think of elfs and clerics instead of pseudo suns. It also kinda hints that they were replaced by some other kind of people, instead of just staying on earth and dying/becoming colonists themselves. It's kinda like calling the English "first men" because they decided to stay in England...
