So does that mean console gamers are subsidising PC gamers?

In a way yes. The console gamers should be getting these sales, because if you look at where the majority of the money in sales comes from for the top titles the console games should get first pick. Luckily PC for PC gamers they dont take shit from anyone, so they dont have to pay for Windows Live and they get some of the best multiplats in bundles that console gamers paid top dollar for.

I dont think so at all. If i make a great game and sell it at $50 and sell 100 copies i would of made $5000. if i charge $25 for the game but sell 200 copies im still losing nothing as i would of still made $5000. I know it might be a bad way of putting it, but i think they sell alot more with the cheaper prices and well make their money back.

I am sure with a sale of this sort Steam  just raised the PC monthly sales percentage. I am sure the sales were up and over 100%. That should speak louder than anything. Im not bitching about it, but Im not taking it anymore if I know theres an alternative. My former alternative was to wait until console games dropped in price. Steam sales outside of PC are unheard of in the console realm. Stores and publishers see too much profit from console gamers.
