2 of those platforms are dead / about to be replaced, one of them just got a revision/cut leaked.

They are all coming to the end of their lives.  Go back and check history, show me any console that hasn't done this in its 7th year, then tell me why this information is supposed to be shocking or surprising or even remotely interesting.



How long until the next Xbox is set to release? Theres still life in the machine, all Im saying/asking is what are they gonna do?


Given what they said about EDD revenue increasing I expect the next box to release ealier than people expect.

But in the short term I expect a hefty price cut this holiday.

I remember the predictions for the last PS3 slim, they were massively over optimistic. 

if i remember correctly, most didnt even think ps3 would break 300k on the first week but didnt it do like over 500k? or even more than that. your in for a nasty surprise later this year kow.

And then it fell back rapidly. predictions at the time were for a long and sustained boost. Didn't happen.  Go on then, 1st week prediction?

stop exaggerating. i remember the summer before the slim, ps3 was selling under 100k worldwide. your telling me it dropped back to those levels after the $299 slim?
