My new Wii arrived at my house today.
None of my data was transferred over, though they apparently did switch over my account information, so I retained all my Wii Points and VC purchases and was able to redownload everything. Most of my game saves were backed up to an SD card, so the only thing I lost of significance was the Guitar Hero 3 data. I'll get that back easily enough. I did have to recreate all my Miis, which took a while, and I'll have to exchange my Wii number and GH3 friend code again. Bummer.

The repair sheet said they replaced the system board, which is what I expected.
