Well, a 16 month 360 figure doesn't have much relevance to it's current LTD. We have GfK figures for October which is more up to date. Nintendo don't say if they are sold to consumer, or sold to retailers, or if they are sold to consumer are they GfK or Nintendo's own internal numbers? I'll cautiously treat it as shipped until we get November + December GfK figures (which I think we might see soon if we're lucky).

I assume he is talking about software here as it's in a paragraph about software sales. As he knows what Nintendo's marketshare is, then it's possible these are based on GfK numbers, but we will see.
