As I noted, they haven't had a holiday season for Resident Evil: Revelations, yet. Both Mario and Zelda have. A lot of people who buy Nintendo systems aren't so devoted to gaming that they buy games at launch - many will wait until the holidays, when there are various major sales, etc, on. And the same will apply to other titles that are going to perform well.

And I really don't see how either Red Steel 2 or No More Heroes would have appealed to 30% of the Mario/Zelda crowd - those games were niche by any standard. They actually performed well above realistic expectations.

youare probably right. I am just so conditioned in Australia with sales every other weekend lol. most recent stock take.

Mind you when I was in the USA games are so cheap already anyway lol. I think I just buy too many and expect regular people to do the same.
