The Red Scare is part of US history. (Might as well explain it since I don't see why they would teach you this specifically in the Phillipines)
Period in 1950s (also there was one earlier, but that wasn't as interesting) where Americans were going batshit crazy and paranoid over finding communists who were inflitrating the government and society and what not. It wasn't true, except for a few cases where people actually were communists and working with the soviets.
Anyways, it'll make for a hilarious mafia game, because I like poking fun at anti-communism.
