I personally think it's because most publishers make their money back at full price console sales.  These Steam sales are just extra on top.  A quick few millions in their pockets.  I don't think they'd publishers will be able to make money if Sony and Microsoft had these crazy sales.


Thats the truth, but it still doesn't make it fair. Console gamers pay too much for PC gamers alone to enjoy the spoils when the publishers know full well the bulk of money is not coming from the PC crowd. Now with Steam i'll pay shit for the best multiplats and PC exclusives.
