Yep after seeing my friends Steam summer sale account, I am switching to PC next gen for sure.

How does Valve do it? How come Sony and Microsoft don't have sales as amazing as this? 

I personally think it's because most publishers make their money back at full price console sales.  These Steam sales are just extra on top.  A quick few millions in their pockets.  I don't think they'd publishers will be able to make money if Sony and Microsoft had these crazy sales.
