I'm getting a new PS3 either way I think, the 80gb could go at any moment and it would be better off downstairs where it will be cooler and get a lot less use.
I still not convinced that this is the actual newer slim model, it's not smaller after 3 years since the last re-design which kind of defeats the point of a re-design as you're still spending the same amount of money on materials.
