You word it as if there is absolutely no chance that you could be wrong even with the most unpredictable circumstances. It's quite difficult to debate with someone with that mentality.

You speak as if you have some divine knowledge of the future. We all know what Nintendo said, but that doesn't mean their past words will be absolutely representative of their future actions. For an example of a company changing their strategy, look at Sony who shunned motion controls as a fad. Despite saying that, they still created the Move due to unpredictable circumstances

That's not a very good example. Sony would do that because they see how well it worked out for Nintendo. 

When a company can't make games for themselves anymore they give up some of their reign since they "work" for another company. I doubt any of the current Console makers would want to do that.
