Something like that wouldnt happen. If MS was going to buy them and this wasnt all just rumors, the only way one of the other 2 could stop it would be to just buy them before MS did and maybe at a higher price if MS was already in the process of buying them.

But the is no way would the other 2 team up to buy the shares .

i see...just thinking out loud....but it seems like this deal might be in the early stages, which leads me to think it that this rumor is more false than real as I don't think an aquisition of this size would just slip out, giving a chance for Either Sony or Nintendo to somehow intervene as it seems Sony and Nintendo could probably match the offer given by Microsoft or use some stock/law trickery to prevent this from happening,
