But Nintendo DOES double up this time again. The Wii is really the only instance where they didn't really increase the power that much. But Wii to Wii U transition is a significant leap. People keep measuring the Wii U against PS360 which is wrong imho. I would go as far as saying that Sony and MS went to far in 2005/06 with their arms race. They cranked up the numbers to an extreme level and went cheap everwhere else to cut costs (Look at the 360 disc drive for example, this thing is a disgrace. Or the overall size of those consoles due to heat issues. I bought a PS3 SLIM just this year and the size/weight is still ridiculous for a console imho.). SInce they put everything in quantity and saved on quality their consoles couldn't even sustain their own power so they had and have issues to this very day, such as overheating and overall system breakdown (YLOD/RROD). I would go as far as saying the PS360 generation didn't really start until they released their slim modells. Everything before that was a Beta Test on the wallets of their loyal customers. They fucked their customers over on so many levels, it isn't even funny anymore, at least to me. It blows my mind every day that after what was going down this generation with so many people having to double dip on the same console of the same generation that people are still supporting this approach for the next generation. I NEVER bought the same console twice to this very day and I will never do so.

Call me a crazy fanboy if you want but I support Nintendos approach over the other two, the leap Wii to Wii U is very significant and that is all that counts TO ME.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
