I wonder how much those games will cost. I also wonder what criteria is used to choose the games. They have a lot of low-selling games, but also have high-selling games like GoW3

It looks like a "pimp our first party releases" collection ala Nintendo Selects.  Which is something they've needed to do for a long time.  Have the Greatest Hits line for  general popular stuff, and then their own special line to promote PlayStation-specific products and build up that brand awareness.

I wonder why Killzone 2 isn't on the list, though.  It seems like they're promoting first party titles that are at least two years old, but Killzone 2 came out before God of War III, Resistance 2, and Heavy Rain.

Also, I would hope SCEA would get in on this, especially with the rumblings of a super slim coming out in a few months.  They need this type of brand promotion in both Europe and North America.

Edit:

And I'm pleasantly surprised to see Heavenly Sword getting re-released.  The game deserved a sequel, imo.  It had great potential for a new IP.  It was just too short and had a terrible framerate.  It was a beautiful game, though, with fun combat and a compellingly told story.
