I really need to get back and finish the game. I've spent more than 175 hours now. I'm in the Mechonis City right now but I cannot beat the boss battle at level 71. 5 times so far and don't even get half of his health off before I'm wiped.
My son has taken over the game room so I've been 3DSing it for the last couple of weeks. Managed to complete Devil Survivor 2 because of it so that's a good thing. |
This is Gadolt I'd imagine? He's pretty tricky to take down, but I can post tactics if you'd like. It might help!
And Melly is the best female character. Never really used Sharla, because Riki/Shulk could heal fine for the most part.

Yep that be he. I've tried switching up characters but nothing has worked so far. I haven't really used Riki a lot. Sharla has more heal/cure abilities but she doesn't always use them when I need it. I went in there with her thinking maybe it was a trick battle and she wouldn't get hurt. Silly me.

Yeah, that could be the plan. I did it with Shulk/Riki/Sharla. The key was to use Monado Armour every time he does that bizzare Ether circular attack. That's the killer.

But the circular attack doesn't count as an enemy Talent Art, so it can't be stopped by Monado Shield, right? Only with the laser he used, which he did, fortunately, like to spam.
As i said, i had little enough problem with him, aside from his summons and their ability to force lock-on.
