I got my imported copy a few days ago :3 The game is utterly brilliant o.o I haven't had much time, so I'm only up to Tachiwaki City, but so far I'd put it up as my equal favourite Pokemon Game, with Ruby/Sapphire.

I guess the real question is whether it is worth the purchase, and how good is it compared to the first one?

It's definitely worth the purchase. With all of the new areas added and the huge new Pokedex, it feels like a whole new region, definitely better than the original. I liked how B/W made you use the new Pokemon to get used to them, but bringing back old ones was a great move.
