It is, in essence, a classic Princess movie... but that doesn't mean it's not a great film. It looks incredible, the voice work is wonderful, the soundtrack is fantastic (just bought it off iTunes), and like I said before, the story, while simple, has a lot of heart. I gave it an 8/10 (Great) and I stand by that score. Brave is indeed a great movie! ^_^ |
Agree with you totally, but you forgot to add the jawdropping scenery. 
Also, what did you think of Cars 2? That one and Cars 1 are the movies that IMO didn't belong to Pixar's magic.
And yeah, A Bug's Life did belong to Pixar's good side.
