Do you have to buy portal 2? I already got steam on pc. Figured you could just link it over.

I bought Portal 2 used, and it had me make a steam account which I hadn't done before. I made one using my PSN ID. I don't remember exactly how I did it.

Later I downloaded steam and made an account, but it said I could sign in with my PSN account, so I did that.

The Portal 2 game i got came with a piece of paper with a code to download Portal 2 for free on Steam for PC. Lucky for me, no one had used it yet, even though I bought it used. I couldn't figure out how to sync the game saves from PS3 to the PC, but it wasnt' that big of a deal because I was only a couple hours in.

So now that I had two copies of Portal 2, I decided to trade in the PS3 copy at Gamestop to get some more games.
