So I just beat the game after owning it for several months and don't touching it. I can't express how much I hate the anime cliché Ghirahim but he wasn't a game breaker to me. Combats were also a bit crappy, any random goblin had the Force on his side and predicted my strikes. The bosses that required you to strike in a certain order just to showcase the motion controls were also annoying.
Probably every other 3D Zelda was better than Skyward Sword in the end of the day, but frankly Zelda games are very good, so that isn't saying much against the game. Also we finally got a timeline, that has to count for something.
