Not sure how this really proves anything. Also the "new user vs. old user" insecurity thing is really annoying. I could equally make the case that older users posting more saved the forum, or that my coming back to the site saved the forum. Or any number of ridiculous reasons. Hell, most of the threads you just showed from the current forums were started by older members.

It's great that the forums are doing well, but the fact that you went through all of this effort to make a couple of loose conclusions is fairly petty.

I don't see what is wrong with Ryan's Thread. It's not like he's bashing anyone or anything. All he's really doing is kind of stating the obvious, forums are doing pretty good.

"Just for some over kill, incase some users may deny what I have posted and say that I have fixed the results, here is an embed of the Nintendo News forum. Whatever route that you all went in the past is what killed the popularity of this site. Us newer users are the ones who fixed it whether you like it or not. How else can you explain the site being busier even though chart functions are gone, and being in a sales vacuum with nothing really new happening at the moment?

So is this finally enough proof for some of you naysayers who say that boo hoo this and boo hoo that. Vgcharts has gone down hill because of this and that. The blame is on the past, newer users just saved it."

That's not really all. If it had just been data indicating that the forums were doing better than they were a year ago, I would be fine with it. But statements like the one quoted above show a fairly clear, vindictive agenda.
