Whenever I was talking about specs I thought of it as Software. Because I thought Hardware was the appearance and display and such.

So yeah, I knew what you were talking about. The only difference between the 'S's' is the innerds.


Hardware is anything that can be touched. That goes as far as a processor or RAM chip. Since specifications are determined 100% by the processors or other semiconductors, they fit as "hardware".

Software is anything that is digital, coding-based.
