I looked around on Google, but I couldn't find anywhere to download the PS3 patch via PC.
I would suggest hooking up with an Ethernet cable, or temporarily taking his PS3 somewhere where he can use wireless to download the patch. Maybe your house? Otherwise I think your friend is out of luck
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
