Why gamers don't buy a game because it is for another console?

This applies to other games as well as it is done for them, too.  However, I never meant to insinuate that deciding to not buy a console for a single game was stupid/ignorant.  There are plenty of reasons to just skip out on the game, but it really boils down to their excuse for not doing so.  Not enough money or not big enough fan of the series is a valid excuse if they aren't lying.
