Actually, Wi-fi is very reliable, and its a hell of alot easier then plugging in cords, and setting a network, and what not. Especially wireless-N, really its up to your internet connection now-a-days. I mean if your wanted to transfer an entire harddrives worth of material, then yes, wired would be better, but for songs, a few videos, its fine. And considering Wireless-G runs at 54mbps, its plenty fast for even the fastest internet connection. So the arguement that wi-fi is horrible for gaming, completely false, I can host a 24 person server on Warhawk, with voice enabled on a 5mbps connection, thats plenty good, no lag, no problems. |
I was an early adopter of wifi. And with wired, all you have to do is plug it in and go. Plus, after having 4 wifi routers quit broadcasting, the wired part still works. If you know of a way to get a wifi radio rebroadcasting, please let me know ... Based on that, I have a wifi DSL router right now, but I have the rest of my devices wired.
