@Zarx. How much difference is there between the 2500k and the 3570?

In gaming no difference since both CPUs are relatively far more powerful than a Radeon 7870. But even equipped with the most powerful GPU of today you wouldn't see more than a marginal difference between those two CPUs in gaming.

At best you could stumble upon a late game phase in a really CPU intensive game like Shogun 2 and see a 10% difference in framerate.

For desktop use and other tasks there is a bigger difference and depends on what you want to do with your comp.
