then why comment on it?  Nothing productive can come from saying "Cool, not interested."  you didn't initiate a conversation, nor did you spur a debate, it was just a useless comment.  Hell, if you explained WHY you didn't like these games, or WHY you felt compelled to comment on it in spite of not caring ("Well, I like final fantasy so I want to like it, but I'm not a fan of the genre, so I suppose I'll have to pass" is a fine example), then that could lead to a discussion.  


Hahaha.  I guess it's because these forums feel more like a comment board than a forum.  

pretty much yeah, didnt feel like getting into a whole thing, I like FF but not the genre simple. I am surprised it turned out as well as it did.
