if you didnt like it the first time out, i doubt you'd like it now especially since the story has gone off the deep end

I know. I just wanted to see if the CPP improved the camera over the normal controls. As soon as I saw the message "Circle Pad Pro is not supported in this demo", I turned the system off. This game wasn't even on my radar.

if it wasnt on your radar it should probably stay that way. No sense in wasting time or money for a series you never really cared for, CCP or not. IMHO i dont think it would change your mind, PS2 had dual analogs and you still didnt like it.
OT i played and i liked it. THe combat seemed a little slower pace than BBS but i did say if its even close to that game im getting it, and it is.

I'm playing Birth by sleep currently, and i can tell you that your memory is fooling you. The combat on BBs is definitly not faster than the one in 3D. Its quite the other way around given you have more moves to use with the flowmotion.
It might be that you get that feeling because the characters on BBS have different combos based on style.
