You sounded like a troll thats why I insulted you.my bad. Im just trying to wrap my head around your bizarre method of thinking. One of the major critiscims of the first SMG by fans is the hub world making you take to long to enter a level some crtics said this as well. Look on other forums you will see what I mean. One of the cool things about SMG2 is it reverting to an overworld similiar to SMB3 and SMW cause I start the game BAM go straight to the level I dont have to dilly dally around in a hubworld not to say that I hate that and thats another thing you talk about immersion. Who in the hell plays a Mario game for immersion? Metroid & Zelda yip I can see but Mario man. Mario games are just suppose to be fun period! thats it. If your looking for immersion in a Mario game I think your playing the wrong game dude. I dont think a connected world necessarily makes or breaks a game thats all Im sayin I prefer Prime 3 over Prime 2 and Prime 2 has a connected world but it is a lesser game than Prime 3.All Im saying if a world is connected or not it shouldnt make a game bad or good.

I never said it made the games bad. I just personally hate that they made something worse.

The biggest problem I have is not that i cant deal with change. I can.   I have no problem with Galaxy changing the platform genre an making it upside down inside out    run around on objects in space etc. And I also have no problem with  the requirement of  motion controls  / Wii motion plus for skyward sword.

The problem is that I want change that adds something to the awesome experience.  OR at least gives me something similar in terms of QUALITY

(Remember I just used mario as example.)

And let me use this example again to tell you exactly what i mean.

I loved Super Mario Bros3 it had this awesome map. Mario World made it even better by making it more complex yet not harder to use. It was not a flat surface like in Mario Bros3. Mario Worlds map had mountains   caves etc
This is what I like.

The next step was it evolved into a three dimensional playground. It gave me a whole Castle to discover.
Sunshine just made it a city on an island  so not much of a change here.

Mario Galaxy used almost the same formula but changed it into rooms with each room having some levels/galaxies.

Mario Galaxy 2 on the other hand had neither a hub world nor did it have a good map at all. The stupid lines have nothing in common with the awesome maps of Mario Bros 3  or Mario World and thats my problem.  Its just BORING. And  Im not always against making something simpler  but they clearly  overexaggerated it.

I mean give me at least complex 2d worlds with alot of lines like I had in Super Mario Bros3 or Mario World.
But dont give me lazy stuff like the clickable pictures in Yoshis Island or the  lines of Mario 3D Land and Galaxy2 thats just wasted potential nothing else.

I know that the games are awesome but they would be even more awesome with well an awesome hubworld /map etc.

And the same goes for Zelda etc.  When playing SkywardSword for the first time I felt right at home because the game had an awesome start IMHO.  Sure it took some time to start the action but thats not a problem because I know they wanted to show the connection between the characters etc.

But as soon as I found out   that  there is just 1 town and there is no connected world  and there is only 3 different sorts of dungeons  the whole thing got not a grain but a TON of salt.
Especially because I felt the whole game was WORK.  There was no more chill and discover something it was only   1 town and the rest was dungeons   becaue even the places outside of the dungeons felt like WORK to me and that was tiring.

The game is still good  but it removed to much of the good stuff.  I mean what about the cities what about the exploration aspect? The sky was well empty  a few things here and there but it was just decoration.

So again  I loved the controls, I loved the style the music the  cinematic cutscenes  (because they gave me a warm feeling lol)  And i always wanted to move on and see the next cutscene because i really cared about what was happening there   but alot of other stuff was annoying for me.

P.S  A not connected world at least a bit destroys a game for me because as said it destroy the illusion of being a world. I also hate stuff like the bayonetta  YOU COMPLETED THIS LEVEL  YOUR GRADE IS FFFFFFFFFF because you took to much time looking at the awesome world instead of rushing to the end  LOOOOL

Stuff like this doesnt belong into games IMHO.    Make it optional   let me turn it on if i want that stuff but dont interrupt my game with  iritating stuff. I am a very sensitive gamer lol
