I think it is already to late for Sony to save the Vita.
The high price of the handheld, the ridiculous high price of the memory cards and the uninspired games library results in the catastrophical sales. And most third parties turned away from the Vita and canceled their Vita projects or ported it to the 3DS.
Even high profile games like the Vita-Uncharted don't get much attention or sales. Games like CoD or God of War will not change this. I repeat: It is to late for the Vita. Sony should concentrate on the PS4 now.
The E3 showed clearly that third parties doesn't care much about the Vita and even Sony seems to go on.
