Wasn't Monster Hunter Tri free-to-play?
If I get the concept of F2P correctly then it was and that would mean Nintendo isn't against it. Right?

I could of sworn Monster Hunter Tri was originally a single player game with online multiplayer...?

It is. Isn't that what a Free-To-Play game is? I don't really know. That's why I was questioning.

Monster Hunter Tri isn't free-to-play--you don't pay a monthly fee, but you are paying $50 to buy the game.

Free-to-play means games like Free Realms where you literally don't pay a cent, and if you want to you can buy in-game items or skills.

Personally, Free-to-play games annoy me, and I hope they don't become anywhere near the norm.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
