Maybe so but I moved a sh-t load back and never had people to take back to america.

O yea if your wondering I was a mover. I moved alot of people up there as well. Thats was always the reason. Saying that our healthcare is to f'ed up. We will see what happens on thurs. The ruling will come out for the mandate, which I agree with some of it and some I don't. But really the mandate is making people pay that don't. So we pay for them anyway and if you read the bill. It says that if you don't pay for health insurance, it's a 100 fine and no arrest if you don't pay it. SO it would just go on your credit report and if your to poor to pay. you would get it free.

I'd think that would have something to do with your connections and the fact that you live here.

That said, it's also worth noting that Canada's healthcare is actually moving towards American Healthcare as we speak.

As for the bolded.  You mean, exactly what happens now in the US anyway.

If the idividual mandate has no teeth it's not going to bring anyone into the market.

Why is anyone going to suddenly join the healthcare market when the penalty for not having insurance would be wipedout by the same mechanic that wipes out your debt if you don't have insurance now?

You can't see the contradiction in the line "We're going to lower the price of healtchcare by forcing people who can't afford to pay for their medical treatments, go bankrupt and raise prices for other people  by forcing people into markets with a fine, though people don't have to pay the fine if they can't afford it by going bankrupt."

They should get rid of practically everything in the law and just exapnd federal coverage of healthcare... and reform that so it actually works better.

Yes thats why I wrote it down. You saying you want them to expand medicare to everyone, like it was originally suppost to do.
