You can back up fox news or straight opinion. I just answered there was conflict of interest and you just said that everything can be bought out. Nope if the laws where in place not allowing people from these companies to work at the agencies, this would not happen. This is like saying, people are going to get killed and raped. There is no way to stop the corrutoin except to remove the ability to be corupted. The best way to do that is remopve positons of power that are not needed and do not accomplish what they set out to do. You can't ban people from working in the government who have previously worked in the private sector. No one would be able to work for the public. Also of note is that even countries with a lot of government, far more than we do, have the same problems and have the same problems of corruption. You have not addressed his issue at all.

Only solution is fascism.  Why don't we become fascist?  If we let private companies control the government why don't we get rid of all the wasted millions/billions on elections and turn completely fascist?  I honestly think USA would be a better nation if it was fascist.

Wow you really seem ot be missing the point. Hitler did not shrink the government, he increased it just as you are asking to do. We are asking the opposite, to shrink the government. But hey why not throw out the HItler argument instead of coming up with counter points. Its the best sign of a failed argument.

No he didn't... Hitler came to power by using the rules in place and legislating new rules.

Specifically

A) Aticle 48 of the Weimer Constituion which allowed him to take any action to protect public saftey during a time of emergency.  (Reichstag being burnt down counted for sure.)

In which... he granted the Federal government powers previously reserved  for the Individual German states.

B) The Enabling act which Increased the powers of the Chancellor by giving him Plenary powers.

 

Hiter came to power by greatly increasing the power of the federak government. 

 

Well that was the point I was making, he got rid of necessary rules that allowed him to become the power he was. I never said he didn't put in his own rules that surved his purpose.

That's an extremely pedantic arguement.

Pretty much EVERY law replaces another law.   You could just as eaisly use the same arguement to claim that Signle payer healthcare is "Removign laws" therefoe anti-regulation.

Fact is, hitler increased federal powers influence on everything.   He didn't decrease it.   Which is why Facism tends to be at the top of the "Authrotarian" chart right in the middle with First Stage Communism on left and Dictatorship on the Right.
