Some prefer not to steal their video games and instead reward people who work had to make them. Without people actually buying the games then the market would collapse and games would become extremely niche. If you can't support the studio that made all the games you love to play then you really are the worst kind of a thief. |
Plus maybe it's just me... but i've played pirated games... they just don't feel as fun or fufilling for whatever reason. They feel hollow. My one friend burned me an NES Emulator and a number of games in highschool. (A lot of which i already had but whatever)... playign them just felt well like i said. Hollow. Nowhere near as good as playing it though the games were identical. (Even the ones i already owned.)
The only games i'd be tempted to pirate are hand held games... and then only if I already owned the handheld system and the games. (I hate actual handheld gaming). This way I could play the games I own.... on my computer instead of some tiny screen.
This of course is impossible with the DS.... and the PSP just plugs in to TVs anyway... and i have Super Gameboy for my gameboy games.
