Microsoft is promoting its brand new Kinect Central hub this week by giving away a free copy of the XBLA game Haunt (normally 800 MSP or $10 USD) to all Kinect owners in the U.S. You do not need a paid subscription to Xbox Live to claim your free game.
To download your free copy of Haunt:
Make sure you have a Kinect plugged into your Xbox 360.
Log onto Xbox Live.
Navigate to the new "Kinect Central" box on the "Home" tab.
Select "Get Haunt for Free."
You will see a confirmation screen showing the price of the download as Free. Select "Confirm Download" to download Haunt and add it to your collection.
Note: Offer expires on July 2, 2012. If you do not have a Kinect hooked up to your Xbox 360, you will NOT see the Kinect Central box. Instead, you will see an upsell box telling you to purchase a Kinect.
