Well we'll have to chalk this whole thing up to a misunderstanding. When you said that you stood by your first reason, I thought you meant the "it will only encourage attention whoring, and trolling" part as your first reason. And I thought to myself, how can one troll with a like button.

But since you only meant the attention whoring this whole debate is invalid.

Sure, agreed. Though there was a comma there, and I didn't give any other reason for there to be a 2nd beyond that.
