Problems restoring PS3 from backup please help :)

But wasn't your PS3 unable to read the backupped data on the external drive? Why would it help to shuffle it around to one more hard drive?

I don't know, becasue my external drive wasn't formatted for the PS3 to read it properly. If nothing works out, I do have all my save data backed up on PS+
