if blu-ray was the reason, then all ps3 games would need to be $20 more. Blu-ray really is only a few more dollars per disc to produce than DVD. DVD is like .15 a disc, blu-ray 50GB is like 1.65 a disc, so a $20 increase isn't because of blu-ray. check out wesleytech.com if you don't believe me on that one. by the way this is all BS. Remember BD50 is what basically all new movies come out on, so they are being mass produced now.
