Bonelich is simple. Remember the most important part of this game is how you hold the wiimote.
1. Hold the remote relatively straight up with the buttons facing you.
2. Watch the next little bell.
3. When it turns white flick your wrist forward as if you were drumming in air. The buttons should go from facing your to facing the ceiling.
4. When it hits the red lines just keep drumming until it reaches the end.
I don't know about it using the sensor or the motion, personally I think it is motion.
