Mutations that cause anti-biotic resistance in bacteria occur all the time. I seriously doubt that would have had any effect.

Antibiotic resistance is something that is genuinely scary though, we have to become more clever in dealing with it. I'm always reading about new techniques and approaches, but very few of them actually seem to come through.

Nuclear power is clean energy, compared to fossil fuels.

And no, nuclear radiation did not cause gonorrhea to mutate.

Just gonna be that guy for a second, but fossil fuels account for very little electricity, which is what nuclear energy is used for. For the large majority, we use coal for electricity.
