You do know that, when the game launches, there is the strong possibility that there will be more WiiUs than PS4s/nextbox because it will launch almsot 1 year before the other 2, right? Why cancel the vesion for the console with more users then?

it is not just that though. surely a port means game is pretty much done. why wait year and a half for the new 720/ps4 (perhaps longer for ps4 if sony claims they waiting for significant jump). Why shelve the game for over a year?

If they release it at launch, it will geenrate them revenue, even if it is to fund only future 720/ps4 projects.
