Hell yeah Pee Wee's Big Adventure is still awesome to this day and a big part of my childhood.
Some of my other cult favorite's from that era are 2 Jim Henson masterpieces...
Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal
And also if anyone has even heard of - let alone remembers - The Peanut Butter Solution you'd be the first... none of my friends have even heard of it before but its on Google now so you should all check it out if you love quircky kids movies from the 80's.
