He is right Nintendo fans are weird. Nintendo had a decent press conference and showed a lo things Nintendo fans care about. But you have to understand, they can´t show new IP´s when they are not developing ones. Altough it was a stupid move not to reveal the Wii U specs at least. Its about damn time if its true, I just hope it wont be a platformer. Nintendo need a real RPG or a good Third Person Shooter.

Nintendo has plenty of RPG franchises. I'd love to see a Nintendo take on the typical third-person shooter, though.

But arent most of them JRPG´s?

With all due respect, an RPG is an RPG. If you're speaking of an RPG that follows predominately western design principles, then I'd like to see what Nintendo could do in that space. Otherwise, be happy with Xenoblade. It's more of a "real" RPG than most games considered to be "real" RPGs.

Yep Xenoblade is awesome we can agree on that, but Nintendo needs a game like the Witcher 2 or Mass Effect a more grown up RPG.
