And another question. Does Apple really make their own CPUs?

Apparently the cheapest will be $600 with the more expensive Intel based tablets nearer $800.

I think Apple uses ARM based chips but they tailor them for their purposes, but I think every major electronics manufacturer who uses ARM chips does this. I don't think they design any chips from scratch.

$800 seems a bit low given that the cheapest Samsung Series 7 Slate is closer to $1000. 

MS isn't going to be giving these things away. 

Just going by what I've read on some news sites. Might be starting prices.
