Conclusion

God does not take it lightly when we ignore His Word or hinder its propagation in the world among His people. This is serious business (cf. 1 Cor 3:16-17 with 10; 11:30).

As believers, we should expect opposition. The more we move out for the Lord, the more attacks we may have to face from our adversary through his various schemes (cf. 1 Pet 4:10-12). As Paul stated it in 2 Timothy 3:12, “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (NIV).

We need more Elishas, those who will stand fast and act in biblical ways leaving the results to the Lord. This is precisely what Paul did in connection with the strong criticism often leveled at him by some of the Corinthians (cf. 1 Cor. 4:1f). As with Elisha and Paul, we need to move forward in our ministries while always trusting God to make a way and remove the obstacles.

You understand that is brainwash right?

If i said theres a holy turd that is gonna take us all to heaven and believers should expect opposition to that theory but must keep believing to be showered in heavenly holy turd i was playing you for a fool. What makes this thing in religion called "god" any different than that holy turd?

If god exists, even if he had the ability to see as us something more than meaningless ants in the grand scheme of things, he wouldnt ask you to do things for him. He is GOD isnt he? He can do whatever he wants.

Heres the thing: i'm sure you're familiar with all sorts of schemers and charlatons nowadays. People who pretend they are a relative to steal from old people for example. Prophets are the exact same thing. People on the old ages were not as informed as we are today, they were easier to fool than your grama. One guy has no job and needs to make a living: he makes up a story, writes some things and concots some sort of circunstancial evidance that is later blown out of propotion. The guy gets free food and shelter from the believers. In time the things written become cultural pressures and bam... religion lives on.

Thats all there is to religion, wich is why theres more than one. There were several people trying to use that scham. Why does it work? Because people fear death and WANT to believe it isnt the end. Wanting to believe and it actually beeing true are two very different things. It also provides some social relief knowing that you arent the only one that believes it.

Believing in god i can totally understand. Religion i dont believe in, its nothing more than a scham because it was created by humans and not gods.
