The only real benefit the SmartGlass has over the Wii U Gamepad is that you can take it wherever you want, while the Gamepad have to be in the reach of the system, the simple fact that the SmartGlass doesn't have any kind of button layout makes it pointless for console type of gaming imo, unless of course you have three hands
