Whosoever was the waste of human life and precious resources that designed the first fight against Xord should have their organs ripped out slowly, making sure that he/she stays alive as long as possible while their body is being eviscerated, then when their pathetic life finally gives out, have their head smashed into a bloody pulp with a sledgehammer and every trace of their miserable existence wiped from the planet forever.

Hehe.  Yeah, I didn't like that fight either, but the worst is yet to come.  Speaking of which, I had to turn off the game yesterday because I was so frustrated with my current battle.  :(

Unless you're talking about Lorithia, then I can't think of a more frustrating battle, and even that is easy if you kill the nebulae first!

That's exactly where I'm at.  I haven't had a chance to get back to the game and will take your advice.

Good idea! The real key IMO is the party setup. Control Melia, for the heavy hitting ether attacks against the Nebulae, have Riki in support due to his 9999 HP and "You Can Do It", and either Shulk (to disperse auras and block Talent Arts) or Fiora (for the speed and auto-topple).

Also, be sure to command your party members back to you regularly. If they stray in the water whilst fighting, which will happen often, use "Come to me!", then "Focus Attacks!" to get back on track. Oh, and never use a chain attack. The revive capability is much more valuable.

If you're still struggling, then level up, because the boss of the next, and final, area, is level 80. So you want to be 74-76 at least if you wish to just go straight to the end from here.

I think that I'm just going to go level up since I'm struggling.  I'm only level 73.  :p
