NBA Jam was released about a month and a half later, and GE on PS3 and 360 sold less *combined* despite being the more "powerful" systems that have strong FPS markets.
And I have no issue with them supporting the other systems. Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. The point being made was that the markets are there, but developers and publishers are ignoring them. And when Wii versions of games get released later and sell weaker, it's used as proof that there's no market for those games on the Wii, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander, as they say.
